New Doors

New Doors

I already had many ups and downs and also my fair share of stress. The most stress I got in the beginning, but that was the best stress as that made you aware of what you have to prepare. For instance, living abroad and being an artist from another country you have to arrange a lot. I don’t work for another company directly so I did my own research. The most difficult was finding the area I needed to stay, which in the end was not that difficult. I had to find a international health insurance from one of the many providers. Talk and discuss with them the options and check the service for an expat life like mine. And I had to find a way to get into the new artist life, literately open new doors. And this was a problem.

I figured being an artist that others would show immediate interest. But unfortunately the opposite was true. They saw me as competition, which is completely strange. Everyone is competition yes, but we are here on earth to share things with each other, not to close others out from each other. But that was the the it was. Luckily things changed, hopefully thanks to my positive attitude towards almost everything here.
